On December 14^th, 2011 the CEO of Infostroy Ltd. attended the discussion of legislative proposals in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and held a speech at the Parliament hearings on the subject “Creating favorable conditions for the development of IT industry in Ukraine”.

     

On September, 26 2011, Infostroy Ltd. became ISO certified for 9001:2008 Quality Management Standards.

BUREAU VERITAS Certification certify that the Management System of Infostroy Ltd. has been audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the management system standards ISO 9001:2008 with Software Development Services as scope of supply.

One of the QA specialists has successfully completed the course assessment and examination for the Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor according to Standard ISO 19011:2002. We have ready specialists and infrastructure for testing very complex and difficult software including software developed for Linux, client/server and network software.

The Company is now officially compliant with the international standards, which once again ensures all necessary actions are implemented for the delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Infostroy Ltd. together with the Informatics Department of KHNURE has opened a science training laboratory IT-Guru.

Key areas of activity of the laboratory:

• Conduct lectures, practice and lab studies for students of the Informatics Department
• Provide additional classes with in-depth study of up-to-date technologies. Classes are conducted for students of the whole University by the specialists of Infostroy Ltd.
• Scientific work of the students of the Informatics Department in accordance with students’ scientific work program
• Workshops for student of the Informatics Department about IT live issues
• Bachelor’s and master’s final research paper defense; tutorials for students
• Organize the Young IT Genius Competition
• Team training for their further participation in academic and other competitions

From 1^st – 5^th March, 2011 Infostroy participated at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany – the World’s biggest ICT Exhibition. This year CeBIT has performed extremely well, attracting “more that 4,200 companies from over 70 countries”*. With the newest ideas, products and services presented this year as well as huge amount of business negotiations CeBIT is definitely the place to be for every company from the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) sphere.

At this year’s CeBIT fair Infostroy was the co-exhibitor at the booth of SIPPO (the Swiss Import Promotion Programme). The program is carried out by Osec, the official Swiss foreign trade promotion agency that assists countries with developing transition economy in gaining access to Swiss and European markets.

Infostroy has taken this opportunity to showcase our abilities in software outsourcing services, our innovative software products and to open up to new European markets.

Following these company’s strategies, we arranged and held meetings with European companies interested in Ukrainian software outsourcing, partner scientific research projects and our new software products. During the five-day event we negotiated with perspective clients and partners from the USA, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and other countries.
