Kharkov as an Outsourcing Center

Kharkov holds a special place among the cities of Ukraine considered to be outsourcing centers, such as Kiev, Kharkov, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa. This makes the city of Kharkov attractive for west customers, and it can be by right called IT Mecca of Ukraine.

The first advantage of Kharkov is high qualification of IT specialists that have already shown good results on international market and the constant growth of their number. Today, four of the largest Universities of the country: Kharkov National V.N. Karazin University, Kharkov National Polytechnic University, Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics and Kharkov National Aerospace University graduate holders of bachelor’s and master’s degrees and specialists in the area of software engineering, informatics and other fields of IT industry. Moreover, Kharkov was one of the main scientific centers of the Soviet Union and made a huge contribution to the Soviet Space Program, Aviation, Energy and others. And today, the city of prominent scientists has brought up a new generation of great IT specialists.

The second advantage is relatively low (comparing with other cities of Ukraine) cost of living. This is why placing an order or establishing business in Kharkov is more effective than in other cities of Ukraine.

And, finally, the third advantage of the city is a well-developed infrastructure and communication lines. The international airport, built for Euro-2012, well-run transport connection, and availability of modern business centers distinguish Kharkov among other cities of Ukraine.
