E-Commerce Systems
|
Dynamic growth of internet technologies and number of internet users result in a constantly increasing number of companies, which offer their products and services through internet. There are already approaches to the development of such applications, and our company has an extensive experience in the development of highly productive e-commerce systems. Our e-commerce systems are web sites for selling one product as well as big web portals for selling thousands of product items. We develop our systems in such a way, so that they can provide quality service for tens of thousands of site visitors a day. At the development of web shops we use our own platform PHP Infostroy Framework (see “Ready to Use Solutions” section) and a well known platform Batavi or DotNetNuke, as well as other platforms on basis of .NET and PHP on demand of a customer. Here are some examples of web sites developed by us. Modern web sites require an advanced administrative and management module inter-connected with database, user interface and some internal processing system. To fulfill some of those functions, we have developed different solutions to provide automated processes for receiving orders from web site, storing them to database for future processing in the office, and for creating delivery packages. We can also integrate these back office systems with different CRM, inventory and accounting systems. For example, a back office can be illustrated as a system for organizing internal cooperation between the regional offices of a distribution company, or for organizing internal business processes in a company connected with a web-based front end. These systems have a wide range of services available, such as web mail system, news, software download, web site management for local offices, payment systems for transactions between local and head office, reporting systems between local and head office, and many other features. One very important part of the e-commerce systems is a subsystem to exchange product information between different parts of the system or external systems. We have accumulated a considerable experience in the development of such systems, as well as in integration with e-catalog of IceCat production. This helps automatically transfer data from catalog to the shop database. |
